Affiliate Disclosure

The short version
JeepRangers.com is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. If you buy something through a link on this site, we may receive a small commission — at no extra cost to you, and with no effect on what we recommend or how we rank it.

What This Page Covers

JeepRangers.com publishes buying guides, fitment research and how-to articles for Jeep owners. The site is funded by affiliate commissions rather than by sponsored posts or paid placements, and this page explains exactly how that works so you can judge our recommendations with full information.

Our Participation in the Amazon Associates Program

JeepRangers.com is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com.

As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases.

In plain terms: when you click a product link on this site and go through to Amazon, that link carries a tracking tag that identifies us as the referring site. If you then buy that product — or in many cases anything else during that visit — Amazon pays us a small percentage of the sale as an advertising fee.

What This Costs You

Nothing. The price you pay on Amazon is identical whether you arrive through a link on this site, through a Google search, or by typing the address yourself. The commission comes out of Amazon’s margin, not out of your pocket, and using our links never adds a fee, a surcharge, or any obligation.

How Affiliate Links Are Marked

Every page that contains affiliate links carries a disclosure notice at the top of the article, before any product recommendation. In addition:

  • All affiliate links on this site carry the rel="sponsored nofollow" attribute, which is the standard search engines use to identify commercial links.
  • Affiliate links open in a new tab, so you do not lose your place in the article.
  • Product cards, comparison tables, “Check Price on Amazon” buttons and product images are all affiliate links. If it takes you to Amazon, treat it as one.

How We Choose What to Recommend

This is the part that matters most, so we will be specific about it.

  • Commission rate never affects ranking. We earn the same percentage whichever product in a category you buy, and where rates do differ between categories, it plays no part in which products we list or in what order.
  • Nobody pays us for placement. We do not accept payment, free product, or any other consideration in exchange for a recommendation, a position in a list, or a favourable review. If that ever changes for a particular article, that article will say so clearly at the top.
  • Fitment comes before everything. Our guides are built around what actually fits a given Jeep generation, read from each product’s own fitment data. A product that does not fit does not appear, however well it would convert.
  • We say when a product is a poor choice. Several of our guides recommend buying nothing in a category, or buying from a specialist retailer rather than from Amazon, because that was the honest conclusion from the research.

How We Handle Prices, Ratings and Specifications

Prices and ratings quoted on this site are a snapshot taken on the date stated in each article, read directly from the product’s Amazon page. We do not estimate them, and we do not invent price ranges.

Amazon prices and availability change constantly. The figures in our articles tell you what the market looked like on the day we checked; the live price on Amazon at the moment you buy is the one that counts. Always confirm the current price, the current fitment information and the return policy on Amazon before ordering.

Where a product has no reviews yet, we say so rather than presenting a thin average as a verdict. Where a rating count is pooled by Amazon across several variations of a product, we note that too, because it means the reviews may come from buyers of a different version than the one you are looking at.

What We Do and Do Not Test

We are a research and publishing site, not a testing laboratory, and we think you are entitled to know the difference.

  • What we do: read fitment data product by product, compare specifications, track price distributions across whole categories, cross-check vehicle figures against manufacturer material, and read recent reviews for recurring fit and durability complaints.
  • What we do not do: claim to have physically tested a product when we have not. We will never tell you we fitted a part to a vehicle, drove on a set of tyres, or pull-tested a winch unless that is genuinely what happened.

Other Affiliate Relationships

The Amazon Associates Program is our primary affiliate relationship. If we join additional affiliate or advertising programs, this page will be updated to name them, and the same rules will apply: disclosure on every page, no paid placement, and no effect on rankings.

Advice, Fitment and Safety

The content on JeepRangers.com is general information for Jeep owners, not professional mechanical advice. Vehicle specifications, part fitment and legal requirements vary by model year, trim, market and jurisdiction, and they change over time.

Before buying or fitting any part, confirm fitment with the seller or manufacturer for your specific vehicle, and check your owner’s manual. For anything that affects braking, steering, suspension, recovery loads, high-voltage components or roadworthiness, have the work checked by a qualified mechanic. You are responsible for the safe and legal use of any part you buy.
